v1 was getting too big, so I've decided to open a new iteration of this thread.

Eurogenes K13 results:
Blue - Republic of Moldova
Yellow - Moldavia in Romania

So after tinkering with the settings for a while, I've stopped on this PCA format, which I will use for all of my current and new samples moving forward.

Here's how it works:

• Up = Increase in: Baltic, North Atlantic
• Right = Increase in: South Asian, Siberian, East Asian, Amerindian
• Down-Right = Increase in: West Asian, Red Sea
• Left + Down-Left = Increase in: East Med, West Med

Dot Colours:

• Red = Unmixed Romanians/Moldovans from Romania's Moldavia
• Blue = Unmixed Romanians/Moldovans from R. Moldova
• Green = Unmixed Ethnic Minorities from either country
• Black = People of mixed heritage from either country
• Gold = Ivano-Frankivsk (Highlander) Ukrainians

Border Colours:

• Red = Unmixed Romanians/Moldovans from Romania's Moldavia
• Blue = Unmixed Romanians/Moldovans from R. Moldova
• Green = All people from R. Moldova
• Black = All people from Romania's Moldavia
• Gold = Ivano-Frankivs Ukrainians and a mixed Ukrainian/Romanian from Chernivtsi

Label codes correspond to abbreviations for district/county:​

Hi, at some point I will. I have 131 samples from Transylvania and 176 from Wallachia as of today, so I am definitely not ignoring those regions.

I recommend running the model at 0.25x with all references once. Then to have a second run at 0.25x with only those references that are relevant for your ancestry. In your case those would be Romania Moldavia South, Romania Transylvania, Csango and Jewish.
