I was able to find information on a migration wave from Sultaniye to Bulgaria(Kardzhali) in either 18 or 19th century. Are there any sources about it on the Azerbaijani side? It seems like migration happened because of an epidemic.

Well, I couldn't find documentation as well. I have a small group with my friends and we research on origins of Balkan Turks, and one of the oldest persons who live in the village of my friend's is aware of such a migration. Moreover, we were able to reach some letters written in that time period and indicates that sent from sister(from Sultaniye) to brother(in Kardzhali), and written with a "weird"(for us) Turkish in the Arabic alphabet but not standard Ottoman Turkish.

After all, we thought if it is an individual migration or a wave, but it seems that there is a group of villages who score similar to each other but differ from the rest. I don't know if it is about something different than this migration though. To prove it I should check matches of these individuals, but couldn't find time yet.

I didn't know you are from there. So I can send suspected kit numbers to you in case you matched. But not this week I suppose, my computer is not with me now.

If we are speaking about Sultaniye/Soltaniyeh from Zanjan Province in Iran, then yes my father's family is exactly from around this area. It is an area mostly populated by tribal Afshars. I'm aware there is also a Sultaniye in Western Turkey. I also know of some cholera pandemics from this timeframe.

That is the only region of Uzbekistan where an Oghuz dialect is spoken. But it's small, less than 2 million, so I doubt there will ever be many samples from there unless from an academic source.
