They look like native Anatolian with Levant influence. In my knowledge they are natives and live largely in Hatay, if i am not mistaken, there are also communities in Adana/Mersin, idk whether they are native there or just migrated. What i can say is, besides of Lazes and Assyrians, they are maybe the „first“ natives in Anatolia. I think they have various origins, especially Anatolian and Levant.

Apart from those one with ydna O and 1/2 other person, honestly never saw a Giresun result with more 15% east eurasian. But interesting how Turkmens settled in areas with different climate and environment in black sea region.

Isnt' the North European kinda low? Probably the local basis had almost none but then again even modern Georgians normally would score more than 6%.

Trabzon average is 4.76. It probably was around that I imagine.

Indeed the average for northern Giresun is 15% and for southern Giresun is 9%. Also there are some Giresun samples who are above 15% Mongoloid at this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...pbY/edit#gid=0

Yes i know this chart, but i saw here and other Giresun results too, they were more than 10% mongoloid but not more than 15%. I have no knowledge about the region there to tell whether it depends on region, village, district etc. Honestly i never heard by Giresunlu that he or she is of Chepni origin, and here are many from there. Not because they aren’t but i think they are not interested in those things. Some of them say (wrongly) they are Lazes.

Out of curiosity, I've calculated the East Eurasia average for the Turks

    Siberian 4.35
    East_Asian 4.26
    Southeast_Asian 0.59

    Total 9.2%

    Atlantic_Med - 12.4%, North_European - 10.27%.
