How much do Pontic Greeks score? Could be from his Giresun side.

It says Greek Pontus is only 12.56% (about the same as Western Armenians), however Greek Cappadocia is 18.85%. I think he may have some "recent" Greek in him. Crete is 23.4% AM for example, even Cyprus is 20.88%.

I don’t know, Giresun is mostly Turkish, there are maybe still some Greek villages but i have no idea. I even don’t know whether there are Lazes(although they describe themselves often as Laz). Maybe distant aegean greek ancestry?


Btw i read that those one from Aksaray which you posted, the village was well known place in Roman/Byzantine era. Idk whether it is true or not, but maybe it explains the haplogroup of this person.
