Nope, I suppose it's just Northern Russian. The neighbourhood that I grew up in received mostly migrants from Saint Petersburg in Soviet times and there quite a couple of Siberian/East Asian hints in faces. His admixture could be related or from somewhere else in the country.

Um, if you mean Leningrad oblast, they are Northwest Russians (long-time residents). That type of Russians actually look whiter than average, blonder and more Finnish-like. Don't know why they would migrate to Moldova from the second-largest city of Russia. Sure neighboring Ukrainians would look more similar to Moldovans than them.

Strange logic. Those are linguistic terms. In us it (East Eurasian) is not "Turkic" most of the time (unless recent ancestry from the last 100 years or so) but it's noticeable sometimes, though without both photos and DNA results it's a rather pointless discussion. Chris also thought he should be Asian.
