But Suceava is 200km away in the mountains.
Ukrainian ancestry is more likely in this case, but we are talking about distant one that got assimilated into the local profile of the community, since I know that all the 4gp for him are ethnic Romanians from Vatra Dornei.

Yes they do live in Suceava, I literally know a Lipovan girl from near Radauti.

Ah, not that I know of, at least not at grandparents level. I wouldn't be surprised if their ancestors are partially assimilated Ukrainians for example who lost their former identity.

That girl from Reddit is likely not from Moldavia. Lipovans are more of a Danube delta phenomenon.
