    I walk with eyes shut
I keep them closed and I 'm dreaming
don't touch me, don't wake me up
I can't accept your truth anymore
I don't even open my eyes
I cross the world and I burn
if you love me, don't talk
I can't take any more lies

    Scream, our life is fading
break the dust that's covering the light
Death goes on holidays to Sarayevo
wake up, you watch these things on the news and you eat

    I see them double tonight,
the sun is shining even though it's midnight
two cigarettes (that are) too strong
and I rocket myself into space
    A screen that shows zero
in these times miracles don't happen.
    A mouth is shouting that
you're not gonna convince me with a thousand tricks

Scream, our life is fading again,
break the dust that's covering the light
Death goes on holidays to Sarayevo
wake up, you watch these things on the news and you eat
Another artist, Greek American Nikitas Klint would burn his American passport on stage

Not saying that Greece wasn't and doesn't continue to be a NATO colony but it's a shame for some people that some Bosniaks want to turn the place into a neo-Ottoman proxy.

Its like a Jewish columbia university scholar living in the bronx: "do you really live there?"

On the other hand you will never see anyone arguing if fyrom or, say kosovo is in Balkans. Even in wikipedia Greece is grouped with countries "sometimes being considered part of balkans". Not to mention britannica which in its latest version it doesnt see Greece as Balkan

With all that saying, i see Greece as a partially (but certainly not fully) Balkan country. And i feel close to several balkan nations: serbs, romanians (if we consider them balkan) etc. But not closer than to southern Europe

I'm not going to set criteria as I'm looking for subjective opinion, but I'm mostly looking for an even mixture of genetic similarity, phenotypical similarity and cultural similarity (though this can be as vague as temperament or merely a gut feeling with no clear reasoning).

    For me, in order:
    1. Other Western Jews (Sephardim, North Africans, Italkim, Romaniotes etc).
    2. Other Jewish groups (hard to justify autosomally, but there's probably more direct shared descent with them than any of the other groups barring maybe the next category).
    3. Italians (as far north as Emilia Romagna), Greeks and Cypriots, Albanians.
    4. Levantines (Druze, Assyrians and Armenians in the Levant, and then Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese Arabs, with more affinity to Christians).
    5. Eastern South Slavs (Bulgarians and Macedonians), North Italians, Western Turks, Romanians and then maybe Western South Slavs but at this point any similarity, cultural or genetic, is purely coincidental.
    6. The rest of Europe and West Asia with minimal variation.
A picture is worth a thousand words , yes ? The darker the area the closer I am related to that population. This is not really subjective opinion but more scientific though :

I wonder how many centuries shall pass before Orthodox people of Greece shall figure out that you are only an Orthodox Community created out of various Christian migrants from Anatolia and Greece.

It is ISLAM that became a state religion of eastern mediterranean people.

You wonder how some Bosniaks want to turn the place into a neo-Ottoman proxy??

We can't be a proxy of Ottomans because WE are Ottomans.

    Cappadocian Greeks are Ottomans
    Pontic Greeks are Ottomans
    Albanians are Ottomans
    Citizens of Constantinople are Ottomans
    etc...

And when you count us all and when you count all Orthodoxes, it is WE Ottoman Balkan-Anatolian people who are native to both Greece and Anatolia where you are minority.

Ottoman Empire was OUR Empire, built by Greeks, Armenians, Georgians, "South Slavs", Bulgarians, Albanians.

Greeks spread Islam all over the Balkans.

When you figure that one out, then you will understand why we want Ottoman Empire (Byzantine Empire) Back.

Since the "Greeks" that you are talking about in 2020 call themselves Turks, and people of the country that is called Greece have nothing to do with you, islam and ottomamism and the people who built your empire, could you at least call these people by their international name "turks" and especially since half of their dna is central asian and the other half (anatolian) is too persian/levantine influenced to be associated with Greek one, so that noone gets confused by your views?

Greek people are the people of the country that is called republic of Greece, and people who live around the world and self-identify with the specific country. And people of this country do not have the (your) traits that you previously mentioned

You have called us germanophiles, westenized, nato colony etc.. well, if that makes you feel better, this is what we are, not ottomans like you

He is not inconcistent. What he says has a basis: many byzantines like genadios scholarios were pro-ottomans and later participated into the construction of the ottoman empire, with a clear anti-European orientation. The other half (among them paleologos, who can be seen as an enemy of scholarios) were part of Europe and fought against ottomans side by side with other Europeans.

Your personal mindset is far closer to the earlier sect, which is why most of Greeks consider you a dumb. You have more in common with bosniensis than with an average Greek.

I will agree that sarajevo is fine, after being reformed by austrians, who according to christians of the country in less than a century they built more than ottomans in 4 centuries. But muslims like bosniensis would disagree

We have nothing to do with CHG- Altaic-Arabs of Turkmongolia.. maybe 2-3% of Greeks worldwide do due to population exchanges like the Greek speakers than went to Turkomongolia.
