Honestly idk, i trust to the guy who claimed both are from there. According wiki 99.9% of the population is Muslim. It could be? I just know that Georgians in Turkey are muslims, but never heard of Muslim Georgians outside of Turkey, just those who converted due Safevi period.

The majority of Adjarians are Muslim too, around 70%. In Azerbaijan the Georgian minority might as well be Muslim.

Yes the Republic of Azerbaijan is pretty well covered in terms of autosomal testing, meaning we have a lot of results from almost all regions.
I'm looking forward to see more from Iranian Azerbaijan, there is a lot yet to be explored there..
