there is somthing i dont understand with 23andme how can they see what % of diffrent ethnicities someone have? one hase onely haplogroups, i took my test at igenea, i know many people dont like them (dont know why) but i asked them if u can look what ethnicities a person hase, ad they told me that dna dosent work like that, that they can onely see haplogroups and some what see were our ancesters came frome.

Those tests are testing a completely different part of the DNA, the % tests are testing autosomal DNA (non-sex specific), so ye can get an idea of what your ancestral percentages are from testing this but cannot tell from which parent a certain segment of admixture came from unless you were to get together with relatives and compare shared segments.
