All in all Frisian is the connection between English and German.

I'm intrigued with the interesting sounds from old Anglo Saxon English, Frisian languages, and Dutch. I hear similarities between them. I think Frisian sounds closer to Dutch and old Anglo Saxon English than to modern English.
The Dutch letter 'G' sound has no equivalent sound in English and is awkward for English speakers to pronounce.
