In short, sutartinė is kind of multipart song performed by women(usually 2-4 singers); there can be elements of dance and playing some instruments in it; tradition of sutartinės come from NE Lithuania; since 2010 they are on UNESCO Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage

This way of singing is not only known in Lithuanian but in Latvian as well. There is Lithuanian sutartinė called Turėja liepa and Latvian one called Sajāja bramaņi. Both have similar rhythm but actually it's debatable which one is original, culture in close areas mix after all
