Of course there no any octopus outside the Earth. I always laughed at these who think aliens will be similar to us. The humans and animals look like this because we have hundreds of millions of years evolution behind us here in the Earth in a special atmosphere, air, environment etc what exist only in the Earth. These things are very different in other planets. Aliens will be very different and i'm not sure we will recognise them in every case, such aliens could exist who does not have physical body, or their mind is incomprehensible to understand it with human mind, or mechanical civilizations and obviously this last one is the most possible because these machines are more resistant against everything to survive their creators and the sun is ideal energy source to live almost forever unlike alive creatures who could die in many way.
