Uzbekistan Turmens are not a good proxy for Oghuz who came to Anatolia. Turkmens itself are diverse, compared to other Central Asian Turkics. People always say Turkmenistan Turkmens would be less Turkic than Afghanistan Turkmens, which ich probably true for the average. I doubt that there are the same amount of Turkmenistan Turkmen samples like those from Afghanistan, since also they can have not even 30% east eurasian. Leto once sent a Turkmenistan sample who had the highest amount of east eurasian among Turkmens and as far i know this sample this was the best example how Oghuzes looked like before they mixed. Uzbekistan Turkmens are 20-25% east eurasian, they are probably 70% Oghuz.

You must ask Leto, i don’t have this sample. As average they are closer, still they absorbed Iranic elements which make them a bit different. But as far I know this guy was 40% east eurasian.

It is Afghan Turkmen (out of Turkmen averages on K12b, idk about IRL)

As far I know there was a Turkmenistan sample with more than 40% east eurasian, how much score the Afghanistan sample?
