^^^^Very useful, shows northern Hesse is north German like, at least this person is. There may be big genetical divide inside Hesse itself.

The northernmost parts of Hesse were traditionally Saxon-speaking which may be the cause of this sharp genetic divide.

Eastern Germany (former GDR) is more conservative and patriotic than Western Germany which is... I'm not going into that.

Nice. I don't think we can calculate a more precise proportion, it's very difficult. Too much time has passed since the 1940s. Like I said earlier, East Germans may not be all the same. Some people residing in those territories may be not as Eastern as one would think.

Looks like the G25 German average may be quite similar to what Creoda has recently worked out for the K13 German average. Both averages are probably quite good, it's just my mother is too west-shifted to be represented by them.
