What differentiates Europeans from Americans

I've been to Arlington. My husband's best friend is buried there

It seems that having a cemetary on American soil is not feasible, because no world war has ever had bloodshed here, and thus, no foreign-born citizen has died here as a result....on our own soil. None that I am aware of, anyway. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Memorials are another good way to honor the men and women who died in our honor, and I see this as a more practical means for our country to honor their fallen European brothers.

I am sorry to hear that your husband's best friend had to die for Wallstreet and the bankers. A waste of a good life.

Maybe something like the Vietnam War Memorial might work as it would serve as a reminder to Americans that they had allies and they treated them horribly but still died along with them in pointless wars that should never have been there anyway.

Non-whites in the centre vs burbs. Non-whites in the US live in the centre of historic cities, whereas in Europe (and Canada) they generally live on the outskirts.
Contracting vs stagnating vs growing cities. US cities used to be bigger than European cities, but they imploded due to white flight. E.g., Chicago in 1950 used to have twice as many whites as Madrid, but now it has three times fewer. Western European cities are also decaying albeit slowly, following the American model (e.g., whites are leaving London). However, Eastern European cities are booming, which might be the reason for their good politics (regular people didn't leave cultural centres).
Console vs PC gaming. Americans mainly play console games. Europeans - especially Eastern Europeans, Germans, and Nordics - prefer PC games. Piracy is generally seen as more acceptable around Europe.
Prevalence of rap. Rap music and other black culture is extremely big in the US. It definitely has a near-monopoly on mass media. Europe is a lot more musically diverse and the local whites mostly keep control of it. This is likely in part due to the fact that US whites fled from culturally important areas and live in irrelevant suburbs.
Weed vs nothing vs tobacco. Americans and Canadians smoke weed, which is a huge component of mainstream youth culture. They are quite fixated on it and have an irrational hatred for tobacco. Europeans smoke a lot less weed. It is often associated with rebellious youth rather than everyone.
University and research funding. US universities are much better funded, in part because they squeeze money out of bachelors. However, they are a lot more generous to researchers and graduate students, offering far larger stipends. PhD programs are generally 2-3 years longer, more intense, and more comprehensive. Yet universities are even more ideologically one-sided than in Europe. Meanwhile, there is a fair deal of ideological diversity in Eastern Euro universities, but they are grotesquely underfunded.
Distant campuses for universities. European universities are mainly very urban and students often live nearby. US universities are often in the middle of nowhere and far away, or in an odd location like next to a ghetto. Originally, this was to keep them insulated from the immorality of the city, but it ended up creating bubbles with extreme sexual promiscuity, cliquishness, a kind of summer camp atmosphere. This might be pretty bad, but it has the benefit of building up loyalty, so Americans donate a lot more to universities... Which might actually also be bad since they're so far-left, and this is empowering them. But then if you are far-left, you should be happy.
Primaries/factions vs parties. Instead of continental-style parties, the US has factions within large parties. One might say that the Dem-GOP elections are more like run-offs in presidential systems (e.g., Le Pen vs Macron), whereas the initial election happens at the primaries level (e.g., Biden vs Bernie, Trump vs Cruz vs Bush vs Rubio vs Kasich all being pretty different).
Left vs. right. Left-wingers from both the US and Europe like pointing out how the US has no left. Obviously, they are being facetious. The US left is generally to the left of its European counterparts on culture, with Europeans often having what US left-wingers would call 'boomer' attitudes (e.g., race blindness). The European cultural right is often to the right of its US counterparts. E.g., Front National is distinctly more right-wing than even someone like Pat Buchanan. The US doesn't really have the radical right except on the deep fringes, and they're constantly harassed by the secret services.
Social welfare due to race. Americans are obviously more opposed to social welfare. The likely reason is racial diversity, so whites don't want to give up their money which will be spent on a hostile group.
Are the homicide rates that different? Although there is a mythology portraying Americans as violent due to guns, homicide rates for US whites are not especially different from their European counterparts. The US white homicide rate is below 2.5, which is at the level of a quieter Eastern Euro country like Hungary or Estonia.
Race and ethnicity. In spite of sizeable non-white immigration, many Europeans are still fairly fixated on ethnicity while regarding race as American. This is in part due to a more aggressive repression of right-wing groups in Europe (e.g., Germany or Russia suppressing skinheads).
State vs. social censorship. Oppression for wrongthink in Europe operates primarily through the state. E.g., the state apparatus in Germany or the UK can fine you or put you in jail for saying something about the wrong group. In the US, there is technically freedom of speech and the state is technically less oppressive. This is compensated via a less tolerant society, so regular people might doxx you, report each other to employers, etc. The starkest contrast is between the US (non-oppressive state, oppressive society and corporations) and Eastern Europe like Russia (oppressive state, non-oppressive society and corporations). Western Europe combines the more oppressive traits of the two.
Class egalitarianism in Europe. We often hear about things like Europe is classist, whereas the US is egalitarian. This doesn't seem like the case any more. E.g., elite education is respected in the US, but Europeans don't seem to place as much emphasis on it except some like Brits. Working-class professions seem more respected in Europe, especially in Germany, whereas in the US the middle class is constantly complaining about rednecks, plumbers, hillbillies, lorry drivers, the low-educated, etc. Even teeth are transformed into a class marker.
Work. Americans seem pretty obsessed with work and being responsible about it, about on par with the Germans in terms of intensity but more workaholic.

Another thing I notice about America is that it is starting to really go morally down the drain. While no country has perfect morals but the USA has the largest prison population in the world. But there are plenty of kind people also.
