Čajniče and Goražde are in East Bosnia

Even Foča which is more southern (and western) than Čajniče and Goražde belong to East Bosnia, not to Herzegovina.
North Herzegovina are Jablanica, Prozor-Rama, Konjic and around these places.

is this map wrong then?
I thought this was the geographic, traditional region of Herzegovina.
in that corner of Serbia which is painted yellow there's a village called Hercegovačka Goleša.
edit: I don't agree fully with that map, Livno, Duvno are in Tropolje and Kupres is in Bosanska Krajina.

In Ottoman time Herzegovinian sanjak was quite bigger than present day Herzegovina. Even parts of SW Serbia (Priboj, Prijepolje and Nova Varoš) were part of Herzegovinian sanjak.
In last 200 years Foča, Čajniče and Goražde are part of East Bosnia and people from there consider themselves for Bosnians regionally.
Herzegovina in modern sense is darker color on the map right https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herzegovina
Čajniče, Foča and Goražde are too cold, green and cloudy for Herzegovina. Herzegovina is sun, stones, little to none forest and donkeys.
All three places have full Bosnian vibe, and nothing Herzegovinian.
Čajniče
Foča
Goražde

Not all Herzegovina is hot and dry. There is so called high Herzegovina (around Konjic) and low Herzegovina which is a stereotype.
Prozor-Rama is northern Herzegovina and it's cold mountain plateau with lots of snow and forest.
