The point is that there is already such a group as the Israeli Jews. At least the native-born population. They speak one language and have a common national identity. Plenty of them are a mix of European and non-European Jews. We have a member waam here, he is half Mountain Jewish from Dagestan, quarter Yemeni and quarter Sephardic.

African Americans have developed their own culture and have their own unique history that is distinct from that of white Americans. You say they dress like white Americans, but so do most native Americans. It's like not really common to see people in traditional native American attire walking down the streets in America, even if they're native. And so in terms of clothing, Ashkenazim are more indigenous.

Yes you could say that you come from all of those people, but that doesn't mean you BELONG to those groups of people, especially if some of those people don't exist anymore. And why do you claim that Palestinians are Ancient Israelites and not Edomites or Moabites or Midianites? There were a lot of groups of people who lived in that region, not just Ancient Israelites. The fact that you're claiming that they're ancient Israelites and none of these other groups is proof that you're just trying to discredit the history and identity of the Jewish people.

And religion isnt "just religion" when it's a non-imperialist religion, unlike Christianity and Islam. And Jews were actually seen as "different looking" back when they were in Europe. No one's culture is the same as it was 3,000 years ago, but we always claimed to be descendants of Ancient Israelites, and way before modern Zionism was a thing. A line of tradition doesn't mean that those traditions have to be exactly the same as they were 3,000 years ago.
