I will say its actually closer way closer than what people think. Im sure countries like Ecuador or Peru are more hated In Spain than lets say Mexico.

I honestly always thought Chile was more like Spain because of its climate, culture and standard of living like Argentina and Uruguay over Puerto Rico tbh. Y’all share the same winery culture with them aswell.

But at the same time Argentina and Uruguay are a mixture Italy / Spain.

All the more reason, you guys have more Southern European ancestry running through your bloodlines with the exception of Chile. The other ones are just mutts between the Amerindians and Africans, mixed in with old school colonial values they never progressed from. The climate is different where Spain is more temperate, Cuba and Puerto Rico are more tropical.
