I was looking at the K13 Updated main sheet and was thinking that there are several averages that can be easily connected together, since they have distance of under 1.5, often even under 1 to each other and are neighboring regions that could be combined. There is practically no true difference between them genetically. These would be my suggestions:
1. Bulgarian Northcentral+Southcentral
2. Dutch North+Central
3. English Midlands+Southeast
4. Greek Central+Athens
5. Irish Connacht+Munster
6. Italian Abruzzo+Molise
7. Italian Liguria+Emilia
8. Italian Lazio+Umbria+Marche
9. Romanian Transylvania+Banat
10. Romanian Wallachia+Dobruja (and delete Muntenia and Oltenia which form Wallachia)
11. Serbian Central+Vojvodina
12. Delete all Scottish regions except Gŕidhealtachd, because they are all practically similar to one another

Merging some of these wouldn't make sense geographically.
It's important to discuss first what is the purpose of the updated sheet.
Maybe there should be one sheet for individuals to model their results, with one average per ethnicity, and multiple averages only for countries with multiple genetic clusters, like Italy and Germany.
And another sheet with detailed regions, for those who are interested in comparing regions to each other, and not their own results.
Most averages are useless for the modelling of individuals, even those with distances above 1.
for example somebody who is half Irish, half Serbian, his closest 2way match could very likely be something like Norwegian + Bosniak, just because of a random variation in some components, and actual Irish+Serbian might be his 5th closest model.
With more regional averages, his closest might be South_Norwegian+ Central_Bosniak, and Irish+Serbian might be burried in the 20th place.

Abruzzo and Molise could also be combined, they were one region until 1963, but the others were not. Liguria and Emilia have two different histories, two different dialects, two peoples who identify differently and the same is true to a lesser extent for Lazio, Umbria and Marche.

Sure, if there are historical differences, like different dialects then keep the division, but when neighboring regions speak the same language and are mostly the same genetically it doesn't make much sense to have them separated, it's just nitpicking for nitpicking's sake. Plus, their regional name would still appear in the name of the average, they wouldn't be erased.
