Unfortunately not. I don't even remember who that was, posted it exactly a month ago. Probably saw him in someone's match list.

he could be from Kakanj, central Bosnia, and his results would fit that area, but it's not 100% sure. I just found a man with his name from there, but there are other people carrying same name so not confirmed.

Edit: he really is probably from Kakanj area. one of his closest matches is Bosniak with gedcom that has some locations around Kakanj

Maybe somebody like Vbn could update Bosniak average with new samples? Got a lot recently. I'd do it myself but have no older samples stored. No need for regional division imo, just update general average if possible is enough. they seem to vary regionally anyway

They are artificially closer to Moldovans than to countries between them due to admixture match, but in reality countries bordering Bosnia are more "Bosnian-like".

These are outdated oracles (Moldovan average included east slavs and one part gypsy, Croatian average is based on just one sample with atypical high Baltic etc). People should use updated Vahaduo K13.
however Moldovans do have similar genetic breakdown as south Slavs indeed (slavic and southern)

Yeah I’m aware there was local Serbs who were islamised and not Sandzakians, that’s why I mentioned the two separately. Indigenous Bosniaks from rural regions seem to range from southern Croat like to eastern Croat like is my observation, not that southern/eastern Croats are the same. it’s Sarajevo Bosniaks who seem to be more similar to Bosnian Serbs, probably because many of them are like Bosniensis and have roots outside Bosnia. For indigenous rural Bosniaks it isn’t uncommon for them to hit Baltic in the mid to high 30s, something which isn’t common in any serb group.

No. southern and eastern Croats are very similar genetically, we just lacked proper east Croat average. Soon it will be fixed.
