I actually found the ancient breakdowns to be pretty good, more or less consistent with my vahaduo results. I did notice that the results vary quite a bit if an erroneous region is selected in the settings. Perhaps yours is set to the wrong region? Or maybe it just does not work well for you, unfortunately.

I don't really know, it is set in south Italy, the thing that strikes me as strange is that normally the other tests give me a mix of Italic and Hellenic for more or less 60/70% but in part this could be more correct, i come from one of the most important areas for the Lombards in southern Italy and also on vahaduo they can be modeled as 55/60% Minoan and 40/45% Sweden Battle Axe, same thing with Corder Ware and Sintashta, and actually among my relatives somatic tracts Nordic are very present (Freckles, light brown/blonde hair and ice blue eyes)
so let's say that in reality not even i have understood well from which peoples i am descended hahaha

Theoretically I should be a blend of my parents results, but of course I am recently mixed which can be tough for these kinds of calcs to handle. My result here looks more like modeling that is based on my closest single populations (midpoint).
Me:
Germanic (100–1000 AD)45.6%
Hellenic (1420–200 BC)21.2%
Baltic (900–1050 AD)13.8%
Liburnian (930–760 BC)10.0%

Correction* Double checking my father's results because I remember him scoring Germanic. Awhile back I guess I had been playing with the populations, and must have eliminated Germanic from the source to see how my Hungarian side scored without it. I just added it back in.
So here is the results for my father if Germanic is included in the source.
Region is set to West/East Slavic & Hungarian:
Father:
3 populations
Fit: 2.318 (Good)
Slavic (540–1160 AD)49.0%
Thracian (990–200 BC)45.2%
Turkic (650–1200 AD)5.8%
4 Populations
Fit: 1.848 (Good)
Thracian (990–200 BC)34.0%
Slavic (540–1160 AD)31.4%
Germanic (100–1000 AD)28.6%
Turkic (650–1200 AD)6.0%
5 populations
Fit: 1.791 (Good)
Slavic (540–1160 AD)31.0%
Germanic (100–1000 AD)29.6%
Thracian (990–200 BC)26.0%
Crimean (250–400 AD)8.2%
Turkic (650–1200 AD)5.2%
---------------------------
Also, for the sake of clarity, my result from my other post is the 5 population setting, with the region on Global, which is the setting designed for recently mixed folks.
My mother's is a 4 populations setting, which is the max for her selected region, Central Europe.

Do you have results for your mother as well, Imre?
