I just learned about and used GedMatch for the first time tonight. Is it possible with the experience you have that you might help me get the most out of the site by helping me aquire a map or more clear percentages as you and others did for Chris on this thread? I would appreciate it it very much.

But I don't think Siberian component is purely East asian. I also think oceanian component is part Australoid.

I just learned about and used GedMatch for the first time tonight. How did you find or come up with the percentages you use in the signature on your posts (shown below)??

"Eurogenes k13:71.2% Belarusian + 15.1% Jew_Moldova + 13.7 Swiss_Italian @ 2.4 | R3P

Dodecad k12b: 85.3% Polish_Mazovia + 14.7% Morocco_Jew @ 1.83 | R2"

I could not find anything on the site yet that laid it out in plain percentages like that.

Please help if you can.

oh wow, that's so weird! I literally have my myheritage results too, and they're totally different to yours...

53% balkan
36.9% east europe
4% northwest europe
5.5% west asian

and they're more or less similar with my 23andme results...




It's so weird that you got almost full balkan, I'm only half hungarian and I still got east european... or are you full szekely??? And myheritage breaks down easier tinier percentages of asian, they gave me a bigger percentage than 23andme, it's weird that you didn't get any west asian at all... I'm so confused. I think I'm feeling as confused as when I got my own 23andme results back lol

MyHeritage is simply inconsistent with its assignment of Balkan versus East Euro. It tends to overlap a lot. We've seen that also with Milenko's results vs. GEDmatch, among many other non-forum members that I have checked personally.
Chris actually has slightly more Northern results than you on GEDmatch.

I used vahaduo. However if you're using gedmatch you have to click on the "oracle" button
