Ukrainian immigration :on favour or against (only Westerners please)

Let's try to be strictly factual.

The whole western part of the Ukraine, beginning maybe 80 km west of Kiew, is not directly affected by any combat action, nor are any Russian troops heading there. From Kiew to Ushgorod is 800 km drive and to Lwow is 600 km drive. The whole untouched by war or war intents area is as big as Romania (!). As long as this situation is applicable, this area is a safe and the most suitable place to be for every Ukrainian that only wants to flee direct combat effects (which is very understandable). They could still later cross the border if the combat against all expectations would move in that direction. The distance is huge and if we would project the current Russian advancing "velocity", it would likely take 2 or 4 weeks to get there. This would be well enough time, to in worst case safely and smoothly move on 100 km or 200 km and cross the border for leaving the Ukraine.

This is nonsense. Western cities of Ukraine have been bombed as well. Not as much as the rest of the country, but the situation can change at any moment.

I agree. We can receive Ukrainian refugees and immigrants and you (I don't know where are you from, though) can receive Arabian, Bantu and South Asian immigrants.

I live in Britain. I’d rather have none. We have a growing population, housing shortage etc, we don’t need mass immigration and should be closing the borders for all immigration which isn’t marriage migration or for highly skilled occupations which have shortages (and even then it should be preferably be from nearby nations). East Europe/Balkans have horrifically low birth rates, high emigration, Ukrainian migrants who are similar culturally to you would be a net positive for your nations and help you in the long run.

*Capital of the country is being attacked, whole government is paralyzed
*Transportation became very hard, markets are empty very soon
*If they go to "safer" western parts, what will they do there? Where will they stay? Important questions.

Ich habe Verwandte in Mannheim und ich besuchte mehrmals diesen Stadt. Es gibt einen grossen Turkischen Statteil mit vielen turkischen Lokalen, auch Russischen und italienischen Laden. Of course this war will be perfect excuse for million of economic immigrants from Ukraine to move to richer countries. Indeed they aren't really endangered in western UA for now.
Truth is, Ukraine is shit country and many now got chance to flee from it.

I'd take them anyway. Have soft spot for Ukrainians (and explained other reasons for it). But if I were German, I would not take them.

I don't agree. Western Ukraine is bombed by aircrafts too.

Ukraine has its own problems, but it has a lot of high educated people with different skills and experiences. For example, there is the biggest nuclear power plant in Europe. They produce cars and civil airplanes, software etc. Many Ukrainian waiter, chefs and construction workers are already working in Croatia.

In favor, unlike the other past waves these are actual refugees (overwhelmingly women and children and not men in fighting age). Ukrainians have always been well integrated in Portugal (we have one of the biggest diasporas in Europe in proportion to our total population), they are hard working, skilled and culturally akin.

They are being hosted in hotels in our sea and mountain resorts, people give them rooms in their apartments/houses, monasteries, student dorms

Yes, where I live is already a very multiracial place and majority of foreigners here are non european, or not white if you want.
We're already in the proccess of 'darkening' and in some generations I'm sure I would not recognize most people of my city as my kin.

We're already exctinct in the long term, so I don't care.

In Spain: immigration of ethnic Ukrainians (no gypsies) doesn't bother me as much as the crappy African (SSA and NA) and Latin scum immigration. It some way it counterbalances the shitty African and Latin scum immigration. I welcome them as long as they are not too many, since I want Spain to remain overwhelmingly Spanish.

In Venezuela: since I would like Venezuela to get as more European as it could get, I would welcome them with no limits (the more they go to Venezuela, the better). Even though I have preference for Latin European (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) immigration to Venezuela, I would still welcome any European immigration that would help to whiten up Venezuela.

And before anyone judge my attitude as pathetic, from now I respond that it would be pathetic coming from a non-white Venezuelan who wanted to whiten up his/her country without being white him/herself, but is NOT pathetic coming from a white (mostly European) person like myself, since is totally valid to be Eurocentric if you are full/mostly European by heritage.

Well it is pathetic to value 'whiteness' as a kind of end in itself, while disregarding other things like language, skills, occupations, behaviour, culture etc. Especially when it concerns a country that is truly multiracial in character like Venezuela.
