Eh I got this, seems it just picks the population groups that it can mix to match you closest. Balkan Turk for me makes sense but the other matches not really, I don't have any relatives outside of Marmara region of Turkey for atleast four generations, so the Isparta result doesn't really add up. My grandmother was atleast half-circassian so the Caucasus connection makes sense, but her circassian ancestry as far as I know traces to the Sochi region (who are extinct today), Tabasaran people are unrelated. The Iberian Roma result makes no sense at all, lol. How do you guys get to see these expanded statistics? All I get is a image.

Isparta is very Central-Anatolian related. Western Pontus, from Giresun all the way to Marmara, was populated heavily by Cappadocians/Central Anatolians, according to Medieval Byzantine accords. It makes sense you'd score it since you are from that region.

Wouldn't this imply a large historical migration towards the Marmara? I know modern day Marmara is very mixed since everyone is moving there, including kurds. My Grandmother who has Anatolian roots was from Gölyazi in Bursa and her lineage traces to that area for generations. While my other grandmother was half-circassian or more from Istanbul, I think she was Istanbul Turk the other half. Both grandfather sides came from Balkan but one of them is born there just because his father moved there for the military academy (From Bursa). It's why I expected the Anatolian Turkish matches would be more connected to the Northwest since I don't really have any relatives outside of this area. I also am getting more Balkan Turk than expected and I have no idea where the Indian stuff comes from, other calculators like k12 and k13 couldn't pick it up.

    Seems the results just updated
