That's not the problem of the calculator, that's the problem of who created these Polish averages.

Peterski was notorious for faking it.

If you unleash these Polish regions into G25 you will cluster with them exactly the same as in K36.

The current Polish average in G25 is more or less identical to Ukrainians.

The ones he prepared for K36 are more like Czechs/Slovaks (at least half of them).

they are regions of poland not an average, I dont think he "faked them," at least they are populations that actually exist. I just pointed out I cluster to other west slavs than I do before any south slavs like slovenians. G25 confirms this even with their Polish average.

no one is arguing here by the way its a forum, its meant for discussion. We are just pointing out the downsides of K36, because some of us are suprised how hyped it is in this thread, when we dont see any reason for that. I think in many ways Eurogenes didnt originally create an oracle for it (where as they did for K13) specifically because they realized it wasnt the best for mixed people and was too sensative with all of its components.

No. East German averages (all German averages) were created by rothaer. Peterska had nothing to do with them.

are you sure about this? I mean its not important but Im looking at my old K36 results from Lukasz and its filled with some of the same east German populations and these all came from Peterski. What happened to him by the way?

Yes I am sure. All stuff Lucas got was from rothaer as well. All averages Peterska had came from rothaer mostly, except few exceptions. These are not same averages like what Lucas used though. Rothaer updated them immensely. Peterska got banned for being a dick.

we all know Peterski hes been a veteran member for a long time and is a pretty smart guy when it comes to genetics. He shouldnt be banned just because he made one stupid statement. I doubt he believes that anyways.

Thats hilarious. Still he was highly motivated when it came to collecting different samples and working on different calculators etc.
