My Avatar is the emblem of Quetzalcóatl (Feathered Serpent); It was the symbol of the Mesoamerican worldview (Toltekayotl). It is like the cross for Christians and the crescent for Muslims.

Quetzalcóatl more than a deity or a man-God symbolizes an abstract concept that represents the universal energy power and the power of human consciousness, which manifests itself cyclically -positively and negatively- in the social. That is why it symbolizes the returns of Quetzalcóatl.

It is a cut snail whose spiral represents time and its points the cycles, symbolizing the cycles of social manifestation of the Feathered Serpent.

It was common to put the emblem on top of temples and the high sages wore it as a chain. Here are some representations in art:

In Ancient Mexico, Mesoamerica/Anawak, a philosophical, scientific and spiritual proposal was developed aiming to explain who we are, how we came to exist and what is our purpose in life. Its name in nawatl is Toltekayotl, "Toltequity"; translated as "the art of living".

My nickname, Shiu' or Xiuh, is a Nahuatl word that alludes to the color turquoise or jade: a color that represents beauty, freedom and evolution.

In Ancient Mexico, Mesoamerica/Anawak, a philosophical, scientific and spiritual proposal was developed aiming to explain who we are, how we came to exist and what is our purpose in life. Its name in nawatl is Toltekayotl, "Toltequity"; translated as "the art of living".

de Burgh is a Anglo-Norman surname that derives literally from an aristocratic dynasty ("House of Burgh").

Avatar is the "Dragon-helm of Dor-lómin" which is a reference to the helmet that Turin Turambar wore in the Lord of the Ring's book that I read called "The Children of Húrin."
“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.”
