Who looks more alike: French and Danes or Greeks and Ukrainians?

Maybe some North French and Danes could be a bit closer looks wise comparing the 2 sets but not really by much.
I agree genetically French and Danes due to Germanic input are likely closer to each other than Greeks and Ukrainians although some Greeks depending the regions have some Slavic input too.

I assume that the phenotypical overlap between French and any Germanic is bigger than the Greek overlap with Slavics/Germanics, since the former, phenotypically and genetically, is more northern/western shifted than the latter.

Having seen lots of news reports from the War in Ukraine, I am even more convinced than before that the difference between Greeks and Ukrainians is not much if at all bigger than that between French and Danes. Plenty of Ukrainians are far darker and more Balkan-shifted than the 'Anna Kournikova stereotype', and their blondness is highly overrated.

First you need to see Greek refugees on TV to make a proper comparison. The majority of ethnic groups are darker irl than what people assume here, not only Ukrainians.

The thing is that many Greeks who go to Northern Europe and the Anglosphere are in fact Cypriots and Pontians.

Like everywhere. Emigrants are normally from the poorest parts of the country which are often at the same time the darkest.
But I mean that the general impression people here have about ethnic groups are random photos, famous people or what they have observed travelling, which gives an idea of a certain sector of the population but not as a whole. You're seeing the most helpless Ukrainians and if you go to any working class neighbourhood of mainland Greece, you will probably also think that Greeks are darker than you originally thought.
