I know it sounds funny but it could be really that I do, because familytreedna traced my mtdna to germans. But that is a time span of 600 years and I didnt know that, but i did mtdna full test and the customer service helped me with interpretation and said it is likely i have german ancestor, i think that is quiete accurate, because mtdna is always the same when i test, not like autosomal where 0.1-2% can vary depending on the categories they use or something. mtdna is hardcore real.

Many Roma contributed to civilisation, two Presidents of Brazil were Roma, a Wallachian Prince was Roma too. It is just not known that well and they were mixed or hide their ancestry. But to say they collectively never contributed anything is wrong. They contributed also alot to music, and many roma words entered the english language, like chav.
