Inbreeding is a sign of aristocracy . It is heavy on my mother's family tree. I say it works best.

Maybe that is a rule in the Orthodox Church, it is similar in Serbia for Orthodox. Also you cant be godfather or best man at a wedding if you are a relative.

Inbreeding causes loss of genetic diversity over time, which leads to far higher incidences of disease and illness. Most royal families in history ended up looking abnormal and suffering from numerous genetic diseases when they practiced inbreeding.

3rd and 4th cousins produce the healthiest and most philoprogenitive offspring, and further a close knot tribe can handle positive mutation in a more efficacious manner (the root of evolution). So inbreeding.
