Afaik that White subject is just a topic for racially mixed people and populations and by races are not meant European subraces. It's no topic among people that are (ethnic) Germans.

DNA doesn't lie but also not state what is considered White. In this context your personal understanding of whiteness ("People that are majority WHG/PIE are the whitest, especially those that are heavy on the WHG side.") is your opinion.

According to that I'd be "Whiter" than the average German.

Here is my data from Davidski's "gold standard". If you equal PIE with Yamnaya, I then have 65.0% WHG+PIE. According to you I ought also to be "Whiter" than an average Low Saxon, I think (not sure).

Yeah, I always found the topic of 'who is whitest/whiter' silly and don't engage with it. White is White, and in Europe - at least above the Alps, I don't make a distinction. Who is the most European genetically is a reasonable conversation (Balts). But whiteness (small w) refers to skin, and the palest people aren't necessarily the most European, Irish and Scots are paler than practically anyone but they have have more Anatolian Farmer than Scandinavians or Balts. Then other people say Scandinavians are the whitest or most European because they're the blondest

But as for ENF and Yamnaya someone once commented that Yamnaya contains close to 50% CHG and asked whether CHG really is more European than ENF (kind of are Georgians more European than Sardinians?). On the other hand ENF likely was originally not just in Western Anatolia but also in neighbouring Greece.

To me these questions are not that easy to answer.

Benjamin is one of the presenters of the youtube channel, Podcast of the Lotus Eaters. In one of the videos he chaired, the discussion was around ethnic identity; Benjamin was highlighting the fact that his grandfather was an immigrant from the island of St Helena and that it didn't detract in any way from his fervent pride in being English, not just from a cultural point of view, but from an ethnic point of view as well.

If the grandfather was from St. Helena he was probably not fully African in origin. 25% West African seems a bit of a stretch.
