    Haha yes.
When I was 8 a tornado hit my house when I was asleep upstairs. By the time I was fully awake it was gone, and so were the walls and the ceiling. Instinct took over and I crawled up and pile of rubble and down a hole which happened to lead to the stairs. I only had a few cuts on my feet which were so mild I didn't even notice at the time. But the house was just about flattened; it was weird to see it like that. I can still smell "tornado" when I walk into home depot lol.

2001 earthquake (20,000+ fatalities) . And in a twist of fate , was unexpectedly caught in among the worst scenario for this - in the miserably liberal setting of the washroom while being in the fervorous midst of my daily morning thing when I suddenly felt like never before dizzy . "Did I strained too hard" ? "Is it an earthquake" ? A cursory glance on nearby objects (that were well heading towards ending as artefacts) confirmed my worst fears as well as dilemma . In another of the split seconds that were left to decide , I finally choose to just keep holding my ground - ill regard to whatever could be in store . Luck favoured the prepared , luckily .

Fortunately, never. I live in a very safe county as natural disasters don't happen here.

Isn't Uruguay one of the most prone to tornadoes region after US midwest?

While it's scientifically true, the tornadoes are super small, the population is not even aware of it. It's like super mini tornadoes in the middle of the country that won't cause damage, for us it's virtually nonexistent.

That "natural disasters" map is complete bs. They're really comparing a country like Chile with true dangerous earthquakes that kill people, with Uruguay that virtually has no natural disasters other than floods here and there.
