It lacks an Oceanian to split it more correctly. Eventually an Amerindian for others reasons and populations. If had time i would redo this test adding those two, make it a K5, which are really the 5 main ethnic groups on earth.

However this comes close and still the reference imo in this regard. Just that K5 with a SSA split.

I'd say the word is race, not ethnic group.

Is this calculator good enough for breaking down Indian ancestry into West and South Eurasian? I still wonder how much Caucasoid Dravidian India would be.

I have seen populations that show up in this calc actually show up in my one to many. This is LD kit that shows central asian and levant pops, I have others that show Italy populations. The mixed mode is usally better than 3 pop at the end

6 months later since TA notification system works great: Yes cause Amerindians are part West Eurasian (ancient) through their huge chunk of ANE.

I suppose all Southern Europeans, most Northern Europeans and some Eastern Europeans get 93-99% West Eurasian on this calculator depending on the person.

I was looking through this and North Indians like Punjabi's/Punjabi Jatts were only getting 67-69% West Eurasian on here, it seems too low.

This calculator is basically the same as any admixture analysis that divides you into the Sub Racial genetic clusters, Caucasoid, Mongoloid and Negroid. Meanwhile many South Asian groups get higher Caucasoid results on another calculator, same with Europeans.

You have a quite high SSA mi estimado paisano, Anyway you and I are the only members with very similar racial make up but with only 2% differences can't really tell If it's SSA or amerindin or euro but it's there.
