Default 1,500-year-old Roman skeleton found next to Barcelona cathedral

The remains have been discovered during the works of the Antoni Maura square and according to the first analysis, it is a robust man who died 1,500 years ago during the end of the Roman period.

As reported by the archaeologists themselves on Monday, February 13 on local television, they have discovered the remains of a man whose bones show a remarkable robustness and a complete fusion of his epiphyses and cranial sutures, so it is believed that he would be more than 35 years old. In addition, as specified, his death is located somewhere in the fourth, fifth and sixth centuries AD, which means that he lived at the end of the Roman period in what is now Barcelona.
