Could be Uralid. The reason why I said Kavkaz is because i see a lot of people who seem slightly Central Asian but are part Kavkaz instead. Uralid is a good one too, could be some ancient uralid from Hungarians.
Also, his eyes seem quite normal, and IMO it's his facial structure that seems more central asian like. Especially his bone structure. His eyes aren't monolid nor does he have an epicanthic fold (right?) he just has almond-like eyes, but this eye shape is indeed more common in central asia, including people without the fold. So it makes sense, and it is possible that his eyes also have a central asian or more eastern element to it.

Yeah, it's not a complete monolid, but not a common eyelid either.
His skull shape is common among Romanians, but I can't say I see much overlap with Central Asian phenos.
Btw, there is some overlap between Eastern Balkan and Caucasus phenos, it may go as high as 30% in the Eastern half of Romania. But to Romanians, these phenos looks very Eastern, while to Georgians would look very Western. Types that are completely interchangeable between these regions may be about 5%.
Another quite extreme example from Southeastern Romania, husband and wife:

Yes, true.
Also, his skull shape (the guy you showed earlier) reminds me of some of my central asian relatives and other central asians that i've met. But it overlaps with Uralid peoples so it makes sense.
The guy in this picture with his wife,,,,he looks like a tatar with a more turkic influence.

To be clear, the husband is ethnic Romanian while the wife is Aromanian.
Nonetheless, both show clear Asian input:
