It is easy to think "What's Britanny Spears singing about this time?"

Then Richard Thompson recorded "Oops, I did it again"

I dismiss disco outright because it is disco.
Then Emmylou Harris turns a disco hit into this late-night torchy thing.



Opera on Sunday... Solti's recording of
"Moses and Aron" has been called Solti playing "Schoenberg like Brahms" by both those critical and lovers of it. It is beautifully played and sung. Solti's vision of the work is compelling and more approachable then most of the others.
