And thare is nothing especially beneficial about tan.Phenotypes: very Med and very dark in general. Light features are rare. Most are very tall but some are short and chubby. Very beautiful people in general, and women are often stunning.

We are medium skinned for europe standard, can get pale in winter, but easily tanned, however, there is not a lot of pinkish white people, with rosy cheeks, especially since dalmatia is one of the hottest areas in Europe during summer, so I can recognise Brithsh turists as well as Turkish, just from the looks.
Also because it is hot, it is natural that paler people who prefer colder weather would move north over time, and that is why we have maybe more darker people on average in the south

Slavonia is actually not lighter than Dalmatia from what I have seen. They are just more eastern looking. It's Slavonians who overlap with Serbs more than Dalmatians do I'd say.
Lightest regions are northwest and western Croatia, they are pretty central euro like.
