I don't know if you noted that the common DNA tests correctly display the actual ancestry of an individual regardless of it's anthropological phenotype. You can see that if you test phenotypical outliers. They are regularly no outliers in genetics compared to their source population. Logically they must also have the genetics that are causing their outlier look. But this part of genetics is that tiny that it has essentially no proportional weight within the over all genetics.

On the other hand this implies that tiny ("very very very minor") parts of genetics are sufficient to cause a particular look. This has the result that also very minor contributions in a genepool can pop up here and there and dominate an individual's phenotype. With the respective rarity, of course.

Regardless of this I fully agree to your point that a nordid type must not hail from Scandinavia. Whereever the nordid type once developed its highest prevalanece - according to Hans F. K. Günther it was even in Aunjetitz culture in Bohemia (based on skull morphology) - there will have been the same, but weaker, clinewise, selection processes in neighbouring areas as well, causing respective DNA to be enriched.
