We all know that the Elamites, a people who inhabited Iran in very ancient times, spoke a dialect similar to the Dravidian languages (Elamo-Dravidian). Is it possible that the entire stretch, from Sri Lanka to Lake Urmia, before the massive settlement of the Indo-Iranian peoples from the Steppe, was inhabited by relatives of the Australian Aborigines?
