also, I don't know how much you know about the region, but Ukrainian last names are abundant in Suceava, Botosani and Iasi counties among already Romanianized Moldovans, which points to recent Ruthenian origin, while checking census data from 1890-to-1910 a lot of villages that used to be fully Ruthenian at the census are now fully Romanian in the same counties. other than that, Suceava county also has a lot of villages still speaking Ukrainian, i.e. ethnically preserved to this day. but there was a long process of Ruthenian-Vlach mix in Moldova region, which is not yet completed (it will be completed after complete assimilation of remaining Ukrainian speakers and with the complete assimilation of Moldovan-speaking Moldovans into Romanian-speaking Romanians, i.e. the local Moldovan dialect is slowly dying out as well)
I know this region well I was born in it. Well you said Moldovans are just Romanianized Ruthenians but that not true all Balkanites including Moldovans are just balkan and Slavic in different ratios. Nothing more and nothing less

it depends what you refer to - look at Suceava and Botosani county Moldovans that have Ukrainian last names and get results similar tu Ukrainians in nearby Chernivtsi, Ivano Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, those are obviously Romanianized Ruthenians. other thn that, northern half of Moldova can be modelled over 50% Ukrainian while southern tip of Moldova is over 50% non-East Slavic so you have a gradient, overall Moldovans are broadly half Ruthenian and half a mix of Vlachs and whatever other populations left their trace in the region, genetically.

actually for Moldova I would not consider all non-Slavic to be automatically Balkan, since Neolithic has been strong in the region and based on YDNA hgs there is trace of that to this day, so part of the Neolithic DNA in Moldovans must be Trypillia/Globular Amphora etc, not recent Balkanic, not all brought by Vlachs

dude get over it I know you dont like Romania so you makes this theories and pure Romanians ( not recent mix or romanized Ukrainians) from seceava and botsani don't scores close to Ukrainians.they plot next to Croats and Bosnians. Moldovans are still balkan and are not different from nw Romanians. So good bye nurzat its was a riot talking to ya lol

Using a "superkit", combining my Ancestry+23andMe data:

Seems to reflect a proper balance of my Swedish-French-UK heritage.
