The Philippines occupies a strategic position in the Pacific Ocean, as it sits close to Taiwan and its main bottlenecks. In particular, the Philippines controls the southern end of the Bashi channel, which puts the Philippines in a position to make a Chinese invasion of Taiwan much more difficult. This chokepoint is one of China's main strategic weakness, especially in view of the possible confrontation with the US. For this reason, the Philippines, which now host new US bases, are in a position to halt an invasion of Taiwan. In this video we will analyze US and China's reliance on this strait, and we will try to answer two major questions. Why is the Bashi Channel so important in the scenario of an invasion of Taiwan? How does this influence a possible US - China conflict?
Wake up and smell the coffee.

China should probably worry more about Japan rearming. No love lost between those two.

Asia need to retain Asian Regionalism, but the war for unification clearly does not bode well on chinese favor(my feeling). So far the west have not stirred up too much havoc in Asia because they can not suffer more populous displacement and the consequent refugee immigration. But WHO KNOWS? the elites are crazy people. White people`s racial independence seems to beome correlated to geopolitical regionalisms. If you keep invading the others homeland, what is the good for this? Islam world, East Asia, Southamerica are the major target of neocolonialism, but I feel the trend is reversing as more people have become awared of this situation, and the zionists are now desperate. I would not advice China to fire the first bullet for Taiwan, just maintain the status quo.
