Oh, very interesting friend.
Probabaly for that reason she has 14% SSA and not that high amerindian (except for the place which you mention).
And I know that in Cesar there are many people who look totally criollo.
Carlos Vives for example, from Santa Marta looks totally criollo indeed... but I know, the coast is extremely diverse!!
You know, "Pibe" Valderrama is from the same city and looks almost tri-racial, and both groups are quite frequent I imagine.
It's very diverse indeed.
I feel glad because you talk to me about all this stuff, because I am very interested in Colombia.
In my opinion it's a beautiful and fantastic country, unhappily unfairly underrated probably for some issues, but it's a paradise, just only for the reason that it's the second more bio-diverse country in the world (after Brazil) if I am not wrong, and it has all the weathers, all the biomes, extremely diverse people, a lot of different costumes depending of the area... etc...
Unhappily I ve never gone there.... it's a pending account which I have, to go to Colombia, to Mexico, to Guatemala and to know better Peru (I went only one time and just to Lima, not to other places).
I went one time to San Andrés, which is part of Colombia, but the environment is totally different, because it's a classic caribbean place, extremely beautiful, of course, but the culture (which I loved so much too) is very sui generis, raizales have a lot of elements influenced of people from Jamaica, Barbados, Grand Caiman and other parts of the Caribbean.
I hope to go there one time... God willing!
