Is Chilean "Europeanity/Europeanness/Whiteness" way overrated?

I didn't know about it. People here in Europe (maybe mistakenly) usually tend to think Argentina, Uruguay and Chile are "white-ish" LATAM countries. But yes, I realized Chile isn't as much "white" as I used to think. Maybe the only white-ish LATAM countries are only Argentina, Chile and maybe Cuba.

Argentina is very euro-influenced, around 40% of the population are +90% Euro... and probably 30% more are +80% Euro...
May be Cuba would be in a similar situation while Uruguay could have around 50% +90% Euro, while Chile has far less...
And in that sense, our brazilian mate 100eyes is right in my opinion...
Brazil has probably around 20% of +90% Euro population and a very important # of +80%...

There is a high level of mutual intelligibility between Portuguese and Spanish, but it doesn't happen between those languages and Italian/French/Romanian. Totally different (despite the latters also being of latin origin as well).
