The diversity of Turks is well documented but they are not gonna make 40 regional samples and diaspora just for Turks. Ranges from being Bulgarian-like to Iranian-like, the average is just that, an average in between the two extremes whilst the core population is solidly in the West Asian cluster. Most of it is the result of melting pot as the region became a cross road of continents at some point and large drifts due to inbreeding (those red dots going down/up on the pca are the result of that)
