I don't know about the Flemish, but Walloons were always considered "the original darkies" in Sweden. Every time someone had brown eyes or hair, that would be attributed to "Walloon ancestry" from the Walloons who came to Sweden as iron workers in the 17th and 18th centuries.

the flemish don't look scandinavians lol, nor the walloons look "swarthy alpinid" like some people with an agenda try hard to push for some reason; that makes absolutely zero sense. The difference is not well marked at all.
Northern Frenchmen don't look like swarthy alpinids either, you have to go to southern france/italy to see those phenotypes.

I am not saying it is true that all Walloons look like that. Many Swedes think that they are all dark, and that all Swedes dark features came from them, but most probably have never even seen a real Walloon even once.
Swedes can obviously have brown eyes without any foreign interference whatsoever, even though it can also be attributed to that in some cases.
