Which things you find overrated?

Weed and alcohol - I like to be alone with my thoughts, face them head on and not numb them with things. And I hate not being in 100% control of my body and mind. Used to enjoy both when I was younger. I'm too old to deal with a hangover plus I feel mentally better when I am not using either of these things anymore.

Cast iron - useless unless you're making a steak. Too much pretty precious princess pampering to be used in literally any other application.

Crock pots - useless unless you're cooking a tough cut of meat. Double useless if there is any bullshit "brown meat in a pan before adding it to the crock pot" - at this point I'm cooking it in the same pot I seared/browned the meat in. Go to hell.

Rural living - I grew up in a rural area in my country and now I live in a rural area in the US. For me it's a better place but this is a matter of personal preference. Everyone who acts like it's "based and red pilled" out here just hasn't learned that while it has it's pros, there is plenty of white trash doing meth and property crime in rural areas. Cities are also nice to visit and have pros as well, probably safe to live in if you have basic street smarts. I lived in a city for a while and it wasn't as bad as internet trads LARP that they are.

Asian food. No explanation needed for that one.

What I disagree with people in this thread on to a degree is that I have no shame in enjoying some celebrity gossip, reality TV, and other mindless entertainment sometimes. I also used to be a huge doomer about weddings but I realized this was due to my own low self-esteem and feeling like I'm not worthy of something like a nice wedding, now I know it's what I really wanted all along and was just coping about not wanting it.

Weed is massively overrated as others have said. What's worse now is - at least in the state I'm in - since it's now 100% legal more people are doing edibles, and that shit turns you into a zombie.

Doing an alcohol fast right now for Advent and I gotta say I have a lot more energy and I don't need to sleep as much to feel rested the next day. I don't know if I could give it up forever though.

Hard disagree. I barely wash mine - just rinse it with hot water and wipe down with a paper towel. Also makes the GOAT fried potatoes.

Vrbo is complete crap. I tried to leave Airbnb by switching to vrbo, but it was sooo bad I had to come back to Airbnb.

What happened that made it bad. Why would you only use 1 and not both?

I am a host, and to upload my listings into vrbo was ridiculously hard. It was so complicated, full of bugs and nonsense. The support staff took ages to respond and weren't efficient. I got fed up and just kept using Airbnb.

I can't exactly agree with the fourth one. I am actually addicted to oxygen. I cannot stop breathing it.

Kinda similar with food, although at least I try not to eat as often as I breathe.
