They tan strangely, from what I've noticed. They tend to burn first, then turn into this really weird kind of color that looks purple-ish, before it sets into a spray tan orange. The "system" is probably slow to activate

Here in Greece, we are darker white skinned (some even light bronze), but women visit beauty centres for solarium like crazy, every year before the summer.
I can't understant this, why being that kind of colour seem so nice to many people. I love white skin and blue/green eyes but, ok, these are preferences and personal taste of every individual...
