I like Portugal a lot, and I would love to visit it someday, but Spain is the country of my mom and my maternal family, and its official language is my own language, while I don't speak Portuguese, and I would have to learn it if I moved to Portugal. So, my answer is Spain.

Spain all the way. The Portuguese are just too reserved and cold (at least for Southern European standards).
