The Roma spirit, free and strong, In every heartbeat, in every song.
Through fields and forests, roads unplanned, They roam the world, a nomad band. Beautiful women, heroic men, In the Roma, life’s magic begins again.
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." (John 10:10-11)

Vasojevići are one of most famous Serb highland tribes, and certainly among most nationalistic.
Yes, that qualifies as "big Serb" lineage for sure.

According to one version Karađorđe originated from Vasojevići and according to another from Klimenti (Kelmendi). His father Petar is born in one village in Sjenica area (Pešter plateau), but he moved to Šumadija where Karađorđe was born. Karađorđe was I2-Y3120, and both Vasojevići and Klimenti are E-V13 but different branch. Maybe paternal ancestors of Karađorđe were just assimilatted in Vasojevići or Klimenti. According to some historians paternal grandfather of Karađorđe was Đin Maraš from Klimenti and he was Catholic. Interesting that old slava of Karađorđević family was Saint Kliment, but they changed into Sainst Andrej Prvozvani in the late 19th century.

Vasojevići with their geographical possition were a wedge between Albanians from northern Albania and Albanians colonized in Raška/Sandžak in 18th century. Albanian settlers in Sandžak were cutt of from their native lands and countrymen due to Vasojevići, and because of that they lost their language and became Bosniaks later. Without Vasojevići maybe large part of Raška would be albanized, like Albanian migrants from Ottoman time albanized Kosovo and in one period even more northern from Kosovo up to Prokuplje.
