Río Grande do Sul + Uruguay + Región Pampeana de Argentina

Yes, they were. Good point.
Some estimatives gives us about 60.000 guarani captives taken by the paulistas in that period (early 1600s). This was the account by contemporary priests such as Lourenço de Mendonça and Ruiz de Montoya. As historian John Monteiro says, between 1600 and 1729, inventories made in São Paulo region give us a proportion of 24,3 amerindian captives for each paulista owner (most of these captives had guarani background). It is impossible that such a high amount of guaranis didn't bring their influence to this region.

Argentina is somewhat similar to Paraguay and Uruguay, Southern Part of RS kinda resembles both, but the rest of state, SC and PR are very diferent, Chile also is similar to Argentina but not much to Paraguay & Uruguay, much less to RS so i dont think its would work, genetically all that area its pretty similar but culturally diverse
Ancestry:
Spoiler!
