I would say that American and European men in the post-war period simply had more class, style, good behavior and demeanor in general. They were also better dressed and not so fake extroverted and in the old Hollywood films the men don't say endless trivial things to impress women but what they said had more weight. Nowadays everything is poisoned by social media and “redpill coaches” and in general everything is fake. Garbage guys like Andrew Tate and the like would have been laughed at and socially ostracized at that time. Today America is a cesspot of degeneracy.
